We are seeking applications for an Access Contracts Manager for a 12 month maternity cover contract based in Blackfriars.
You will Manage Southeastern’s Track, Stations and Depots contractual arrangements and relationships with rail industry parties.
This will include access contracts with Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, High Speed 1 and other train operators.
You will strive to enhance the relationship with those parties, whilst ensuring Southeastern’s commercial potential is maximised and exposure to risk is minimised.
To excel in your role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent level of experience.
- Knowledge of the relevant geography, including stations and depot layouts and services operated by Southeastern.
- Expert knowledge of the station, depot and track access agreements.
- Expert knowledge of the regulated documents supporting those agreements, e.g. Station / Depot Access Conditions, Network Codes.
- Working understanding of Rail franchising in the UK and railway franchise agreements.
- Negotiation & influencing skills
- Good attention to detail with the ability to review of documents and figures to ensure accuracy of written and numeric information and commercial objectives are met.
Based from our Head Office in Blackfriars you will be required to work 37 hours per week.
