Your role

We are currently seeking an Administrator to join our Train Crew Rostering Team in Blackfriars for a 12 month maternity cover contract.

You will provide administrative support to the Traincrew Roster Team and help co-ordinate resource requirements.

You will assist the teams by liaising with the appointed team representatives from Finance, HR, other departments to ensure that activities are completed to schedule, risks are noted and mitigations planned.

Duties will include;

  • Maintaining accurate, accessible records for all key stakeholders within the business.
  • Collate material for input to progress reports as required by the teams;
  • Manage the documentation – ensuring all documents are filed in an orderly fashion online;
  • Process medicals and taxi requirements;
  • Manage the sick, off track and vacancies board and spread sheets;
  • Maintain statistical data that informs the current situations of each depot/location.

About you

To excel in your role, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An experienced administrator
  • Experience of working in a busy environment with many challenges
  • Ability to multitask, well organised and creative
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient with outlook, excel and word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player
  • Knowledge of and experience working in a Train Operating Company (desirable)

Working here

Based at our Head Office in Blackfriars you will be required to work 37 hours per week.
